From a Dream to 6 Million Baht: The Real-Life Story Behind a Winning หวย Ticket

Last Updated on 16 October 2026

Sometimes, a real-life หวย story begins with something completely unexpected. For one Thai vegetable vendor, it began with a dream that led her to a lottery number she would never forget.

In June 2026, 25-year-old Inthira Saisun made headlines after winning Thailand’s first-prize government lottery, worth 6 million baht, with ticket number 173770. Her story attracted attention not only because of the life-changing prize, but also because of how she came across the number.

The Dream That Inspired a Lottery Number

Inthira, a vegetable seller working at a market in Kamphaeng Phet, reportedly dreamed of an elderly figure who told her to buy a particular lottery number. According to her account, the figure also asked her to make merit if she won.

The following day, while working at her market stall, she encountered a lottery vendor and noticed tickets featuring the final three digits she remembered from her dream: 770.

There were two tickets with those digits, but she could afford to purchase only one. She chose a ticket bearing the number 173770.

When the results of the 1 June 2026 draw were announced, her ticket matched the first-prize number. The unexpected win brought her 6 million baht.

Why Her Story Resonated With หวย Enthusiasts

Inthira’s experience brings together several familiar elements of Thai lottery culture: dream interpretation, lucky numbers, and the anticipation of discovering whether a chosen ticket will win.

In Thailand, some people who practise ทำนายฝัน, or dream interpretation, look for traditional meanings behind the people, objects, and events that appear in their dreams. Some also associate dream symbols with numbers that inspire their หวย selections.

For Inthira, the connection between her dream and the number she purchased became especially memorable because the ticket won the top prize.

Her story also resonated because of her circumstances. Reports described her as being five months pregnant and struggling with debts connected to her vegetable business. She said the prize would help her address her financial difficulties, while she also planned to make merit in keeping with the promise she had described.

Can Dreams Really Predict Winning Numbers?

Stories like Inthira’s naturally encourage people to wonder whether dreams can reveal lucky numbers. However, an important distinction remains between a personal experience and a reliable prediction method.

Her reported win is a real-life example of a dream-inspired number coinciding with a winning ticket. It does not establish that dreams can predict lottery results or that other people can reproduce the same outcome.

Lottery draws are uncertain, and a number that appears in a dream is not guaranteed to win. Many people may act on similar dreams without experiencing the same result, while those unsuccessful experiences are less likely to become headline news.

Nevertheless, dream-inspired numbers remain an interesting part of หวย culture because they connect lottery choices with personal memories, cultural traditions, and individual beliefs.

From a Personal Story to a Winning Ticket

What makes Inthira’s story remarkable is the chain of events: an unusual dream, a chance encounter with a lottery vendor, a decision to purchase one ticket, and an unexpected first-prize win.

For her, the number 173770 became associated with a moment that could change her financial circumstances. For readers, it offers a fascinating glimpse into how a personal experience can become part of a larger lottery story.

But the takeaway is not that everyone should follow their dreams to find winning numbers. Rather, it is a reminder that every lottery win has its own circumstances, and a memorable story should not be mistaken for a dependable strategy.
